Are we not going to utilize the k-12 data center data so teachers can only have one account? Based on the review of the product, I thought this feature was available. Having more than one account will be an issue when registering. From CC registration experience, some teachers signed up using their home e-mail then did not remember and signed up again using their school e-mail address. We are charged by "student" (aka teacher/librarian using the system). Wouldn't the ESA "students" be the same as our "students"? (Once a teacher registers they would use the same account for ESA and our trainings) Or do you think they would have significant unique "students"? In terms of set-up, once the contract is signed, the vendor will put us in contact with an implementation specialist. There will be 4 set-up sessions. The vendor indicated if we are "motivated" it won't take as long to set up. I read that as organized and able to make decisions quickly. Attached is a SAMPLE implementation plan from GoSignMeUp. We aren't doing everything on the plan (no credit card set-up, item 2.7 import student data we aren't doing etc). There will be more details once implementation actually starts but this should give us something to think about. Recommendations: Start thinking about the section 1 system development info--like site url (it looks like there are different options based on google--I'm guessing these examples are the hosted by GoSignMeUp (like we will be): Washington.gosignmeup.com, prodev.gosignmeup.com and these are hosted by the client: gsmu.med.k12.ms.us) I am going to recommend something like: southdakota.gosignmeup.com if it is an option 1.3: branding of site--this is colors, logo etc. Julie Erickson Electronic Resources Coordinator South Dakota State Library 605-295-1994
